Who am I?
I am Kirsty Jay. I am a freelance web designer and I work independently from my home here in Tenerife.
I have been designing websites for 15 years, and have been based in Tenerife since 1999.
I Live in a small Spanish village with my partner and 2 children. I am settled in Tenerife, as I own my own property here, so I am not a 'fly-by-night' business that will run off with your cash and leave you with no end product. I am also always on hand to answer all your queries, technical questions or site update requirements, should they arise.

My philosophy is one of quality and customer satisfaction, not purely profit. Any website I design is a reflection on me, so I treat every client and every project as invaluable. I am not a sales person, and get most of my clients via word of mouth. I believe this is my best marketing tool, as nothing speaks louder about the quality of my work than recommendations.
I constantly evaluate my skills and research the internet for the latest procedures and web design protocols. I am continually learning new techniques and when designing a site, I take into account the end user that will be viewing it and design the site accordingly.
I make sure that all my sites are visible to the maximum majority of internet users by making sure sites are correct is all the major browsers and that there is not content that might make the site unavailable to a proportion of potential users or offering an alternative if you choose to have such content.
I optimize all my sites for the major Search Engines as I build them. I also submit all my sites to the right places to make sure they have the best chance of getting into the top rankings. I have an excellent track record for my Search Optimization Services and I don't charge any extra for this service when I am designing a site.
